The Battle of The Clans began as an idea in July 2026, with the aim to bring together competitors in various sports to compete as Scottish Clans in the sports of Lawn Bowls, Football, Golf, Curling and various other Scottish sports.

To register a clan team participants ideally should either hold that family name, or be married to a person of that clan, or have an ancestral link to the clan. Septs of clans (of which they are many) can also register and compete. Complete regulations for each event will be published soon.

To assist the development of this meeting of the clans we obviously need help. Ideally we are looking for people with links to clubs who would be willing to act as hosts for regional events under the Battle of the Clans banner. As the event continues to grow we then aim to develop the regional competitions into national and international events, and to link our events directly into the various national leagues

Simply state which sport you are interested in competing in, and the region(s) where you able to compete, and the name and contact information of your host club. If you are able, please sign up to act as a regional organiser to assist us in running these events.
